Flats are where it’s at

Kelly Starrett, DPT, (CrossFit Mobility) lets us in on proper footwear for kids. Flat, is best. The unnatural heal heightened shoes we wear (as adults and kids), and yes even Oly lifting shoes, can have a lasting effect on the foot, ankle, knee, hip and low back.

“Over the course of the last 2.5 million years, you have evolved to have your heel flat on the ground (or a flat surface). You are an engineering miracle. The length of your heel cords is not an accident.  Any systematic deviation away from heel flat  isn’t natural.”

6 cleans
6 S to OH
9 cleans
9 S to OH
etc…
Rest 4 Minutes

use 100% of your 1 rep max press from 5-24
